Duotone Boot – Kite/Wakeboard Boot

If you ride boots, you know your style. And that’s exactly why we created the brand new Duotone Boot! Taking advantage of a new baseplate, the boots have been given an extremely direct and reactive connection to the baseplate and the board.

With reinforcements in high-wear areas, the new, even stiffer shell construction of the Duotone Boot ensures optimal support and maximum control for a long time! The ergonomic, high-impact insole provides incredible comfort and enormous support during the most abrupt moves and landings from high altitudes, absorbing the impact and stabilizing the feet when needed most. The specially designed TPU triangle keeps the heel firmly in the ankle area, providing the rider with safety, comfort and a locked-in feeling during the most aggressive maneuvers. No matter what situation you find yourself in, you can always count on your boots.

Size Duotone Boot 2020

THE Stance:

wide wheelbase

+ greater stability in landings

+ withstands higher power

– Increased risk of injury to the inner knee with an excessively wide stride

short wheelbase

+ greater handling

+ less resistance in rotations

Taller people need a wider stride than shorter people. To find the right stride width, jump forward and land in a squat so you have a comfortable stance.

centered pads

+ greater stability in landings (when landing, the weight is distributed to the center of the board)

– edging in heel support is more difficult with small feet

closer to the heel side

+ heel edging is easier for upwind sailing and jumps

– less stability during landings (the weight is distributed off-center during landing)

– edging while resting on the tips is more difficult

If you experience shin pain, shift your position toward your heels to make edging easier.

feet with divergent toes (wide angle)

+ increased handling in different styles (e.g., in carving and gait on tips)

– Increased risk of inner knee injury with an excessively divergent toe step

parallel step

+ greater stability in landings

+ less resistance in rotations

If you experience inner knee pain, reduce the angle to a more parallel position. Look for a natural angle in your feet as you squat.
