The Stash comes with numerous improvements, taking in-flight stability, power, upwind angle, depower ability and overall riding comfort to a new level while still maintaining ease of folding and intuitive response.

Our design team segmented and stabilized the leading edge of the wing even more precisely, optimizing profile thickness and angle of attack to achieve the ideal mix of low drag, depower, and stable flight. The result is a wing that performs optimally across a wide wind range, with exceptional control at different angles of sail.

The new Stash retains the ultralight 30g ripstop frame that flies even in the lightest winds. It handles intuitively and folds up easily. The sheathed lines have been updated to offer greater stability in flight and less tangling. They are also short enough for easy recovery in all sizes, from 2.2 m² to 5.6 m².

With a new aspect ratio and a new camber, the upwind angle is significantly improved, as is the depower ability, which in the 2026 Stash model reaches a higher level thanks to two key innovations:

1. Bridle design: The bridle triangle on the leading edge constantly keeps the front of the wing at a positive angle, ensuring a stable and solid opening even with strong depower at the rear.
2. New ergonomic handle: allows the rider to slide their front hand under the A-lines, significantly improving riding comfort and power distribution. All line connections are integrated into the handle, including the harness leash option. The result is an extremely comfortable, tidy, and tangle-free kite that’s easy to pack and relaunch.

The 3-way color coding (main frame, leading edge and center panels; three rows of lines A, B, C with different colors) makes untangling and starting the wing super quick and easy.

Single skin vs. double skin:

– The single skin has a higher lift coefficient than the double skin and transmits more power for the same wing size

– The double skin offers greater stability in flight, especially at higher navigation angles

– The single skin folds more compactly and does not require drainage

– The single skin with double skin tip drains much more quickly after a dive, compared to wings completely built in double skin

– The single skin with double skin tip is more stable when depowered, compared to completely single skin designs
